Wyoming-based rapper Fierce is an independent, unsigned artist making a name for himself in
the underground scene. With an unorthodox musical style attributed to his upbringing outside
of the conventional hip hop sphere, he cannot be
pinned down to just one sub-genre. He’s not old
school or new school - his discography ranges from syllable-packed lyrical exercises to slow,
melodic anthems. The only constant between his tracks is the emotional power in his rhymes.
Through his music, Fierce wants to help and make connections with his listeners, evoking thoughts and feelings that they can’t quite describe on their own.
Fierce - born early summer in 99’- grew up in Rock Springs, Wyoming, a small mining town with a population of just 23,000 people. Throughout his childhood, he found himself in destructive situations with nobody to talk to. At the age of 12, he discovered therapy in hip hop and immediately started writing down his own lyrics - he had finally found the emotional outlet he was looking for. He’s never looked back since, working on his music tirelessly for the past eight years.
His fifth album, “Euphoria”, released June 14th, 2019 with production credits from Young Taylor,
Syndrome, 2 A.M. and more. It included the standout single “Problem”, as well as the
rhyme-dense “Blind”, and “Alone” featuring Breana Marin. Fierce has since followed the release with a number of singles.
