Filth & Pleasure - a dynamic duo making their mark on the Psy Tech & Techno scenes. Originally hailing from the UK and now based in Perth, Western Australia.
Beyond their charismatic persona behind the decks, Filth & Pleasure have been busy in the studio, crafting a diverse discography. While their earlier tracks highlight their energy, creativity and origins, their recent releases on Kurai, Mavic and BLOK have demonstrated their evolution in the studio.
The Trick EP reached No 3 in the Hype Top 100 and 18 in the main Peak Time Techno charts, with the 2nd track on the EP ‘Contrast’ peaking at No 31, and their remix of Marie Vaunt’s ‘The Chosen’ reaching No 40, seeing the duo with 3 tracks in the Top 50 at the same time. The Trick EP and the single both entered the overall top 100 Hype and Release charts, peaking at No 52 and 54 respectively. This resulted in Filth & Pleasure coming in at No 5 on Beatport's trending artist stats in Peak Time Techno over that period. The System Overload EP on Mavic Music also gatecrashed the Top 10 in the Beatport Peak Time Techno Release charts, and the Dream Control EP peaked at No 13 in the Peak Time Techno Top 100 releases.
Further releases scheduled before the end of 2024 on Marie Vaunt’s - Kurai Records, which will be the duo’s 4th release on the increasingly popular imprint.
Filth & Pleasure draw inspiration from influential artists such as Space 92, Eli Brown, UMEK, Mha Iri, Marie Vaunt, Carbon, Lampe, Victor Ruiz & Alex Stein.
