Fine Motor Control is a four piece band from Toronto. Their sound is inspired by aspects of psychedelia, shoegaze, garage, grunge, britpop, and surf. The four local independent music scene veterans came together during the summer of 2018, and released their debut album in March of the following year.
FMC’s self-titled debut was recorded over the course of a blustery winter weekend at their rehearsal studio and captures the band’s sound live, loud, and off the floor. The resulting collection of songs deal with themes of escapism, uncertainty, urban paranoia, and modern love.
