Finlay is a songwriter and producer from Inverness, Scotland. His history in creating and performing music roots all the way back to 2018 with his involvement with his band ‘<a href="spotify:artist:0B9fbvNTi5Ln6hxC7kYMO6" data-name="The Citrus Scene">The Citrus Scene</a> ’ , recording and releasing an EP while still sitting his Higher (A-Level) exams in high school.
One pandemic and a university degree later, Finlay learned to record and produce himself, experimenting with merging classic indie rock and electronic elements, a sound he’s still working on perfecting. This experiment became <a href="spotify:album:0VYp2MdKjBHnmcwyBzVfsw" data-name="TWENTY ONE YEARS IN THE UK">TWENTY ONE YEARS IN THE UK</a>, his first solo EP.
Now based in Manchester, Finlay is still self-producing his music and is releasing completely independently. <a href="spotify:track:2Cba1g6orCu19B7ZWmtFX3" data-name="AU REVOIR">AU REVOIR</a> is the first single Finlay has released since moving, with <a href="spotify:track:12zA11LjWAUjm4MsU9NPsL" data-name="Dream On Daft Boy">Dream On Daft Boy</a> following later in the year.
