Finlay de Vale is a Scottish jazz/soul musician currently studying Popular Music at Goldsmiths University of London. Finlay is actively inspired by the legendary sounds of Stevie Wonder, Lianne La Havas, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Cleo Sol.

Finlay infuses vulnerability into his music, with lyrics that serve as a conduit for raw emotion and heartfelt storytelling. His intimate acoustic sets, specialising with piano and vocals, transport audiences into a world of introspection and soul-stirring melodies. With his extensive understanding of harmony and effective songwriting, each song constructs a captivating atmosphere that lingers in the minds of listeners.

Finlay has been working on his songwriting talent since he was 14, and now at 20 has released his new EP "Red Lining". An intimate portrait of the workings of a person holding trauma navigating the gay dating scene of London. He looks forward to connecting with audiences via this project in live settings and with future projects. He has a passion for storytelling and an unwavering dedication to his craft that makes him an exciting young artist.
