Finn Jaster

Growing up in a household where B.B. King stands next to the Dubliners, next to Deep Purple, next to Vivaldi, I started learning the violin at the age of 6. Since I also wanted to accompany myself while singing, I started learning the mandolin, but that wasn't enough. At 15, I began taking guitar lessons, both acoustic and electric. I now play various string instruments, including violin, guitar, mandolin, banjo, and bouzouki... the diversity of music fascinates me!
I wrote my first song at 15. My topics are things that concern me; from personal experiences and feelings to political and social conflicts and issues.
Musically, I experiment; most of my English and German songs are somewhere between folk, Americana, rock, blues, and singer-songwriter.
I love sharing my music and am happy when people enjoy it and maybe even get it dancing or thinking. For me, music is more than just a consumer product; music connects and transforms; music is communication.
Currently, I take every opportunity to make music with others, network, and present myself and my music, be it in bars, local events, or festivals.
Since March 2025, I have been performing with my band "Finn's Fighting Frogs."
My first professionally recorded album was released on August 15, 2025.
