Decades of collecting vintage synthesizers and noodling with demos left Los Angeles based music producer FIOQ looking for a push to take his music to the next level. It all came together in pandemic isolation, granting him the time and focus to sit with the music and hone in on his sound and influences.
Arpeggiated synths and chopped up samples ricocheted through his mind in those late night sessions, inspired by the gritty and gleaming DTLA skyline outside his window. All these forces crystallized together to create the sound of FIOQ.
Next release will be his first EP called telemonic. It arrives on October 17th, 2025.
