Boston-based Fire in the Field returns with the studio album Ash & Cinder, eight tracks of the seasoned outfit exploring their blues and folk roots with their ever pounding heavy fury. A band known for their impenetrable riffs, has a new offering off the beaten path, familiar, yet ever deeper down the rabbit hole of their dynamic canon. The band: Jared Graham (Drums), Jeff Badolato (Bass), Mike Moore (Vocals/Guitar), recorded at New Alliance Audio in Somerville, MA.
With a bluesman’s swagger and a punk heart, Boston’s power rock trio Fire in the Field quickens the pulse with their endorphin-infused sound, pushing the envelope and bewitching with the wild passion of rock ‘n roll.
Nominated for Best Rock Act of the Year 2019 by the New England Music Awards.
Nominated for Best of Massachusetts 2018 by the New England Music Awards.
September 2017 - The song "Eyes" (off of 2016 EP "Look So Strange") was licensed to a Discovery Channel show with a full minute placement.
Fire In The Field's latest two EP's have been on regular rotation on nearly one hundred college radio stations from Hawaii to Maine and several internet stations streaming in the US and the UK, including "Little Steven's Underground Garage" on Sirius XM.
"The sharp contrast between the group's sensual lyrics and killer rock riffs is a recipe for a complete mind takeover." - Rene Cobar, The Deli Magazine
