First Man Standing is the personal project of Julio Ledesma, a spanish songwriter/musician, and his window to the world.
Influenced by indie/rock bands like Los Planetas, The National, My Bloody Valentine, Joy Division or The Cure, his compositions rely on moody vocals, expressive guitars that play and intertwine with rhytmic bass lines, and punchy keys, in a wonderful mix of noisy, expansive, orchestral sound --- crafted with the help of indie producer Carlos Hernández Nombela
