Fisherboyz

Fisherboyz is a Łódź-based electronic music duo consisting of Maciej Milczarek and Piotr Matula. Since 2017, they have been recording and releasing music on labels such as International Day Off, Zoharum, Render, Microgarden Lab, and Nagrania Somnambuliczne.

Their live club performances have supported artists like Sebastian Mullaert and Peter Van Hoesen. They actively collaborate with the theater scene, resulting in projects like the audiovisual performance DROGA and a live show at EXPERYMENT FESTIVAL 2018. Twice featured at the Noc Kulturalna festival in Częstochowa, they have created music for film-related projects, including a score for Rabbit Hole, based on the 1903 adaptation of Alice in Wonderland (dir. Cecil M. Hepworth, Percy Stow), and a soundtrack for Man with a Movie Camera (dir. Dziga Vertov, 1929). In 2023, they performed at the 9 Hills Festival in Chełm, providing live music for The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (dir. R. Wiene). They are also long-time collaborators of the FRU contact improvisation festival in Łódź.

In 2024, Fisherboyz performed alongside musicians from Sinfonietta Cracovia as part of the Elektrosinfonietta concert series, blending electronic and orchestral soundscapes in a unique live experience.
