FJ Salcedo is a singer-songwriter from Koronadal City, known for his work in pop and lo-fi music. He began writing songs in 2020 for the Ilonggo Pop Dos album and released his first Hiligaynon song in 2021.
FJ became more involved in music, performing with local artists and learning from mentors. In 2021, he was selected as one of Philpop’s sponsored artists and later became a semifinalist in the Philpop X Himig Handog Songwriting Competition. Most recently, he was a finalist in the 2024 Mindanao Popular (MINPOP) Music Festival Songwriting Competition, where he won 2nd place.
