Max Mackinnon (guitar, vocals) | Paul Champion (guitar, vocals) | Peter Psaltis (bass, vocals) | Stuart Symons & Dave Osborne (drums)
‘Undoubtedly one of the most promising bands to emerge from the city of churches in years.’ – Rolling Stone, September 1995
‘The Stan were a band in the right time and the entirely wrong place: anywhere else they’d be hailed as an indie rock band on par with Sebadoh, Guided by Voices or Archers of Loaf (the first time I heard ‘All The Nation’s Airports’ I was convinced they were ripping off Flat Stanley), but in South Australia they just sort of petered out in a wash of higher education and proper careers.’ – FasterLouder, 2013
