Fliney is a new Melb/Naarm based indie/alternative/garage rock band, born in June of 2023. We are inspired by artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Boygenius, Billie Eilish, men i trust, Radiohead and more. We're a group of friends who have always shared a love for music, but only recently decided to combine our talents and passion to create a band together, Fliney! After discovering a creative dynamic between us through writing and recording songs from our bedrooms, we have started to play gigs, such as 'Banyule Youth Festival' in early September, and Always Live's 'GARAGE BAND' at Fed Square earlier this October! We get so much joy out of making noise together and have just released our Debut Single "Pyromaniac" which is very very exciting. We cannot wait to pursue more and further share Fliney with the world.
