Born in a Midwestern town known for its rich vibrant music scene, black gold and Wild Horses, Floowood discovered early in his childhood what genius lied dormant within. At age 13, his successful campaign to plant 280,000 trees throughout North America and Europe made him the youngest speaker in the National Speaker Society.
Although he could write his check into politics, he chose the normal life of a 90's teenager, While continuing to sharpen his writing and oratory skills in the dominantly conservative culture of Tulsa, OK, he hid his appetite for out-spoken controversial artists like Nine Inch Nails, Limp Bizkit, 311, Tupac & Kanye.
After graduating USC Film School and with award winning documentary "Bite Size" on his belt, he yearned to be in front of the camera. By combining his cinematic soul and revolutionary spirit, he crafted the alter-ego Floowood to express his truest passion for music.
As Floowood, he would grace the stages of Arizona Hip Hop Fest, Comicon, and BANANAS LA in 2018 before the world shut down. His recent release of Inferno and Ascent come from the culmination of thousands of hours of studio time sourcing the right beats and dressing each track with a unique flavor of alternative hip hop. Through his unique form of story telling. his lyrics source personal affect as well as hard facts which bring awareness to mankind's individual and collective vices.
