FLORAL STEELE

Based out of a relatively small bordertown, Floral Steele (Alan Guerrero) assisted in the growth of the everchanging music scene in Yuma, Arizona. Alan shifted his focus to music after facing a knee injury during high school Basketball try outs, where he learned to play guitar and eventually go back to playing the drums.

In 2019, Alan was asked to become the drummer for Purple Static when he received an unexpected text message from a former classmate. At the band’s first live event “BLISS”, Purple Static became one of the main staples of the local music scene for a time, leading to the beginning of Alan’s solo career.

Alan’s solo career took off when releasing his debut single “I Know Why”, gaining a relatively overwhelming outcome for him. When the release of his first EP “Atlanta” was made public in 2020, Alan had decided to stop working on his own projects to focus on something leading up to his current band, DISCO GIRL. When spending most of his time as a member of DISCO GIRL, Alan grew as a musician and eventually released a new song under his new alias Floral Steele, titled “LOTS OF FUN” one year apart of his first EP release.
