Flying Buffaloes

Flying Buffaloes’ latest single, Breakaway, sets the band on a collision course with their rock and roll roots. The track’s driving, danceable aesthetics, coupled with an emotional performance from lead singer, Barry Stone, cement the band firmly in the world of modern rock music.

The band released their self-produced debut EP Taking Off in 2017, garnering praise from the likes of Huffington Post and landing the band a tour supporting red dirt country artist <a href="spotify:artist:3OftZbLfcqulxWNZMX8zLI" data-name="Wade Bowen">Wade Bowen</a> in addition to their first headline tour throughout the Midwest.

After two years of steady touring and two stand-alone singles, Flying Buffaloes released their first full-length album, Loaded &amp; Rollin,’ in 2019, which was produced by Grammy award-winner, Jeremy Ferguson (<a href="spotify:artist:26T3LtbuGT1Fu9m0eRq5X3" data-name="Cage The Elephant">Cage The Elephant</a>). Following this release, rock veterans <a href="spotify:artist:26yYgoh7hehqYix76g3LcS" data-name="Drivin N Cryin">Drivin N Cryin</a> took notice of Flying Buffaloes and had the band open on their Southeast tour.

2021 saw the release of Flying Buffaloes’ uplifting pandemic-era anthem A New Day Is Gonna Dawn, followed by a return to touring with the likes of fellow rockers <a href="spotify:artist:12eBeSzYomD30nFVzTGQTy" data-name="The Josephines">The Josephines</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6IKlXZEFOvk9itrP1s0knJ" data-name="The Red Clay Strays">The Red Clay Strays</a>. During these high-octane performances, Flying Buffaloes began unveiling their new material to acclaim from fans throughout the US, with Breakaway being the first of these tracks to be released. Excitement is growing for the new album, momentum is building, and the band has set course with a humble fire in their hearts and their eyes on the horizon.
