Flynn Daggett is the partnership of Beth Flynn and Gwyn Daggett, rooted in the landscapes of Bannau Brycheiniog. Their debut EP Inside Outside unfolds from a quiet time of becoming — exploring life during pandemic isolation, then moving through mist and mountain in their van across North Wales and Scotland. In those suspended moments between solitude and open wilderness, their music took shape — a meeting of connection and contemplation.
Their sound dwells somewhere between art-folk and poetic minimalism: intricate guitar lines interlace with haunting vocals, drawing subtle nods to Joni Mitchell and John Martyn.
Beth, who is mostly deaf, listens through vibration and visual cues; expressing herself through the physicality of sound. Gwyn responds to this sensory world with percussive textures, open tunings, and vocal-like phrasing. Recorded live, Inside Outside captures intimacy, aliveness, and the possibility in noticing finer details.
