FME is a British rapper and songwriter who was born and grew up in the heart of Hoxton N1, London.
His excursion commenced at a young age when he received a keyboard, sparking his interest in music. From this moment on, he began to showcase his flair on stages at talent shows. His skill lyrically, soon came to light at many open mic nights.
FME’s parents are both from Sierra Leone, meaning that throughout his time he has spent a lot of years going back and forth between London and Sierra Leone. This has led to a wide array of experiences growing up in these two very different locations. Much of FME’s artistry is relaying stories and situations involving these areas through his music. He is extremely connected to his cultural background and the music he produces is honestly what he wants to listen to.
FME is not tied to one genre, he has styles of UK Drill/Rap, Grime and even Krio music coming, much of the tracks he will release are written throughout the last decade and been finalised in more recent times.
