Fogchild (she/her) is the experimental/ambient project of Jae Magdalene Grumulaitis. Hailing from Texas, based in NY, fogchild’s first EP “future republican president” (Released May 22nd) is a reflection of puritanical christianity through meditative modular synth movements, ambient guitar, and recorded samples of sermons and hymns she grew up with. She is inspired by artists like grouper, Ana Roxanne, and Midwife, weaving together hymnal and meditative worship and her own experience of queer love and trans spirituality.
