Foivos is one of the most popular and influential Greek composers and music producers.
From the beginning of the 90s until today he has composed (music & lyrics) hundreds of songs, with more than 18 gold LPs and CD-singles, 22 platinum albums, 10 albums that are 2x platinum, 3 albums that are 3x platinum, 2 albums 4x platinum, 1 album 6x platinum, 1 album 7x platinum and 1 album 11x platinum.
In the summer of 2001, his career took off as he gained international recognition when he received the award for the best-selling album of the year in Greece for the CD single “Ipofero” presented to him by the manager of Virgin Megastores in London, Sir Richard Branson.
On March 6, 2002, Foivos and Despina Vandi received the award for "Best-selling Greek artist in the world for 2001", for the sales of the album "Gia" at the World Music Awards in Cannes. "Gia" also achieved the impossible by reaching #1 in both the US and the UK.
In the spring of 2004, he has been selected to compose the music that will accompany all of Coca Cola's activities under the 2004 Olympic Games sponsorship agreement.
