Fókus is a pop/rock girl band based in Iceland. The band was formed in a small town on the south east of Iceland by Amylee Trindade and Alexandra Guðrúnardóttir in 2022. Later that year, Anna Lára Grétarsdóttir, Arnbjörg Ýr Sigurðardóttir and Pia Wrede joined the band.
In the spring of 2023, after only a couple of months as a band and having only played a few local gigs, Fókus entered and won The Music Experiments competition (Músíktilraunir). After that, the band worked hard on recording songs for their EP, which will come out later this year.
The multi-cultural band draws inspiration from all corners of the globe, blending diverse sounds and styles into a unique pop/rock experience that’ll touch your heart and soul
