Fola

Fola is a London born Nigerian singer/songwriter/producer whose music is a fusion of r&b, pop, soul, and Afro-Caribbean music. Fola has been inspired by some of the greats in the music world like Michael Jackson, Brandy, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, R.Kelly, Usher and much more.

Fola began his musical journey at the age of 12 performing in local talent shows. In 2007 Fola entered ITV's X-Factor where he reached boot camp stage. Shortly after not making it past boot camp, he began writing and producing his own music.

Fola teamed up with Musiek Mambu and Femi V to create his first EP - Promise Land Chapter One [The Awakening], which featured the 90s inspired single 'Comfortable', Melt featuring Aina More and 'Take You home' ft TinyMan. SE17 VOL.1 followed suite in style of Promise Land Chapter 1 in 2017, with a Dancehall/R&B song Down 4 Me ft Tashana and Come My Way. In early 2018 Fola released VOL.2 of SE17.

With more music and projects in the pipeline (including a collaboration with UK Dance Act Phats & Small), Fola hopes to continue pushing himself as an artist.
