Fonzie began taking music seriously in 2018; starting with his first demo ‘Wait’ racking up over 20k plays in a month on underground streaming site Audiomack - all with no promo, industry team or budget around him. Fonzie saw people were starting to gravitate towards his music, and knew the time was right to start releasing music properly, and by the end of 2018 he had racked up 200,000 streams, was included in the 2018 MOBO Unsung Class and had picked up support from the likes of Complex UK, BBC 1Xtra and Link Up TV.
 
Following a string of single releases in 2018, Fonzie brought his music onto the stage, slewing performances at ILuvLive, LostWorldLondon and Fusion’s event at BoxPark Shoreditch. These experiences lead to him creating his first 2019 offering ‘Pop Up’, a bass-driven record for the streets that went on to feature on Capital Xtra, BBC Radio 1 Xtra and RWD Mag. Following the success of ‘Pop Up’ Fonzie quickly announced & sold out his debut London headline show at o2 Islington, leading to an array of ravishing reviews.
 
Currently collaborating with an array of hot UK producers and engineers, including Fumez the Engineer & The Heavytrackerz; Fonzie is ready to completely change what we view the conventional U.K. rapper should be.
