FOOTSTOMPERS from the Swedish west-coast (Falkenberg) was formed in 1997 bandmembers Pierre Gregersen (Bass), Johan Bengtsson (vocals), Rickard Werecki (Drums). Johan Svensson (Guitar), Håkan Johansson (Guitar). In 1998 FOOTSTOMPERS recorded the EP, ”Sideburned” 1997. First single ”Sideburned” caused chaos across at the Swedish national studentchannels, ”Sideburned” was the most aired track throughout 1998 National studentradio across Sweden. Eventually the Swedish national radio picked it up, followed by several commercial stations, media and press. FOOTSTOMPERS performed at legendary rock scenes as Hultsfred “Metropol”, Gothenburg “Sticky Fingers” Stockholm “Alcatraz” “Patricia” and cities all over Sweden. The debutalbum is self titled and was released 1999 (CD) produced by the bandmebers. The direction is clear, to establish a global fan- base. FOOTSTOMPERS went back to the studio for the last time 2001 and recorded 9 new songs for the upcoming EP “Rodeo” and the single “Teenage Rock” but was never released until 2021, 20 years after its recording, FOOTSTOMPERS 1997-2001.
