For Breakfast emerged in their current form in 2017 in North London from the remains of a string of short-lived bands. Pulling together seven musicians from varying musical backgrounds, they set about bolting elements of dream pop, post-rock, jazz, noise rock and psychedelia together. Their debut EP ‘Songs in the Key of O’ was released in June 2020, and the band are set to follow it with their enigmatic, expansive second EP ‘Trapped in the Big Room’, recorded on an abandoned Cold War air base in Suffolk in the Autumn of 2021.
