Format:B are Franziskus & Robin from Berlin – known for their distinctive Motorfunk: chunky grooves bridging Hip Hop, House and Techno. As founders of Formatik Records and residents of the legendary Ritter Butzke, they have shaped Berlin’s club scene since 2004. From Berghain to Fabric London, from El Row Ibiza to Fusion Festival – their sets have shaken dancefloors worldwide: Japan, Australia, South America, North America, Russia and across Europe. At their Holzmarkt Studio in Berlin they produce releases for labels such as Toolroom & Formatik, and have delivered remixes for stars like Paul Kalkbrenner and Martin Solveig.
