Fox Atticus, Born Fox Atticus Martindale, is a singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada.
Best known for his work with Goodbye Honolulu, Fox is now focusing on his solo music after a 9 year hiatus. While living in Los Angeles during the pandemic, Fox found refuge in spending his days writing new music, fleshing out old ideas, and recording demos. After 2 years, Fox moved back to his hometown, Toronto. Bringing home with him a catalog of heartbreaking and deeply personal songs, Fox was determined to begin the process of recording and releasing new music. After teaming up with Toronto band Fade Awaays and guitarist Inigo Jenkins, Fox went into the studio to record a 4 song EP with producer, Matthew Tomasi (Ethel Cain). Typically living in the realm of loud rock n’ roll and lo-fi garage rock, Fox introduces a new side of himself. Slow, dark, and haunting are just a couple of words to describe this new sound. Dealing with topics such as heartbreak, and mental health, Fox drops the rockstar facade revealing a more raw and vulnerable side.
