Fox Evades

Fox Evades is the solo project of DIY musician, songwriter and bedroom producer, Jordan Mae. With soaring and spacious guitar riffs and a voice that has been described as uniquely haunting delivering lyrics that give an overall sense of intrigue, her music finds herself well and truly under the skin of her listeners.


In late 2020 during the pandemic, she self released her debut single <a href="spotify:track:43WVjDmJ97de6v3GNnFTLM" data-name="The Heart That Drowned">The Heart That Drowned</a>, which immediately gained the attention of BBC Music Introducing producers across the UK. Fox Evades then became the artist of the week on BBC Radio following the release of the second single <a href="spotify:track:0VpbBkjt1cKRBSHaZBysDI" data-name="Bira">Bira</a>, which was said to be ‘hypnotically mesmerising’ whilst possessing the ‘qualities of an epic, summer indie anthem’. Her latest singles <a href="spotify:album:4FZRsE4rydWyBqUF1c4qCE" data-name="Born to Sleep">Born to Sleep</a> and <a href="spotify:album:3emPyftjRSYeh7DpBucASU" data-name="Someday">Someday</a> will be featured on the debut EP ‘Nothing But Our Dreams’ which is set to be released in 2022.
