Fox & Tiger is a bombastic independent rap duo from Whitefish, Montana to Portland, Oregon. The group is made up of twin brothers, Jairus and Jordan Hills. Born in the early winter months of 1993, Jairus “Fox” primarily crafts ear-pleasing eerie-electronic-beats, while Jordan “Tiger” drafts the imagery and design — amidst the soundbed, both brothers rap vigorously and poetically overtop. You are left sitting with a very complimentary, organic, eclectic sound that you have not heard before. Lyrics birthed from personal life, an affinity for cartoon shows and anime, a video-game-filled youth, thoughts about the afterlife, and more(!) are laced together creating compelling, nostalgic verses with interactive, complex rhymes. The brothers have an expansive collection of sound-searching tunes archived on SoundCloud. Their self-titled album released October 2021 with new successes and a reformed sound. Their latest work, THE WAKING HOURS is available to stream with a continuing series of collective EPs unfolding late 2023 to 2024.
