Foxes and Lions is an indie folk and americana music group. The band consists of Pete Roth, Haider Ali, and Anna Love.
They formed in January 2016, when Pennsylvania native, Pete Roth, was playing at an indie music hub, the Piano Bar, in Hollywood. Having just moved from New Jersey, Haider Ali found familiarity in Pete's musical style and the two spoke of collaborating on a project focusing on profound harmonies and lyrical prose.
After writing a complete set of songs, Anna Love, a classically trained singer, joined the group to add a softened layer of tone that naturally compliments the echoing melody of the duo.
Based in Los Angeles, Foxes and Lions combines the sound of raw acoustics with contemporary song structure, touching on classic folk themes such as life, love, and longings for home.
