FRACKMART

FRACKMART are a Scottish/German electro retro, at times 80’s inspired musical duo. Martin is from East Kilbride in Scotland and Jens comes from Leipzig, Germany. FRACKMART's musical influences include Duran Duran, Kraftwerk, Ultravox, John Foxx, Depeche Mode to europop to name just a few. Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran is one of Martin's musical heroes and this is reflected in the sounds of many of the different synths that can be heard in FRACKMART's music, including many differernt Roland synths and sounds. FRACKMART songs mostly contain English and German lyrics, to reflect both coutnries and cultures the boys hail from and is their trademark.


The boys released their second album “Dirty Disco” at the end of March 2021. German singer/songwriter, Jens Frackowiak refers to their “Dirty Disco” album as the ‘singles album’ because it contains no less than 6 singles! 2021 seems to be shaping up to be a very prolific period for the FRACKMART boys with the release of ‘’Glasgow Kiss”, the melancholic “Juno” singles and the brand new Liquitronik EP. August 2021 sees the boys release “Pretty Whore 2021” as a prelude to releasing their expanded version of their second album, called “Dirty Disco - The Disco Ball Edition”.
