Little Rock-based indie rock band Frances Grove emerged in 2014 when singer/songwriter Grace Walker began self-producing music in her bedroom. Influenced by bands from the early 2000s, Grace started writing with more intent, exploring sexuality, past relationships and the weight of mental illness featuring soft vocals accompanied by dreamy guitar riffs with an indie pop feel.
In 2019, Walker began sharing songs on social media recorded entirely on their phone, gaining traction on TikTok and Instagram. After growing into a more refined style, they began releasing music to streaming platforms under the name Frances Grove.
Their latest project, That’s the Goal, is a clear example of their growth as a musician, writer and producer.
