Francesca "Cesca" Strano is an “old soul” vocalist, pianist, and songwriter with deep roots in hip hop, gospel, classical, R&B, and jazz. She takes those influences and molds them into a new sound, one she hopes will be heard around the world. Francesca is inspired by greats like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner and Patti LaBelle and aims to achieve the same level of musicality and acclaim as her idols. She is based in Bergen, Norway, where she began singing as a child and developed her attention-commanding vocal style.

Francesca typically records independently in Norway but has also recorded and performed in the USA, most notably working with Grammy-nominated engineer and producer Christopher B. Steinmetz (Usher, Madonna, Kiss) on her song “So Beautiful” at CRC in Chicago, Illinois. She has also performed live in Chicago and Atlanta, Georgia. She was part of Idol in 2003 and The Voice Norway in 2013. Her style of funk-inflected pop has won over many music fans and is building more momentum daily.

She has played and sang since her days as a child prodigy who played several instruments and studied both voice and dance. She has developed into a mature recording artist since then, one with a highly-commercial style and bankable instincts. She is currently in Norway preparing her next release
