Francesco Imbriaco is an Italian composer. He writes for piano, strings and different ensembles. Listening to his compositions you may find references to some kind of romantic classical music but also to contemporary composers such as Olafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm and many others. His aim is to create many different atmospheres through his music, making every listen a different kind of voyage.
His first work is 'Rooms' (2019), 13 original compositions for piano and string quartet.
'Dal silenzio, storie' (2020) tells the tales of the 'Monastero di Santa Maria in Valle' of Cividale del Friuli through music for piano, harmonium, strings and choir. His latest work is 'release' for piano solo (2021), eight compositions for piano born through a silent winter.
Music for podcast: in 2022 he composed the music for the italian podcast 'Rumore. Il caso di Federico Aldrovandi' by Francesca Zanni, winner of two Awards at the 2023 italian podcast Awards. In 2023 he wrote the music for 'Cento giorni dopo - Il caso Amedeo Damiano', a podcast by Radio24, and for 'Solchi', an indipendent podcast.
