Fusing R&B with genre-busting modern day Hip-Hop, Trap and Pop; Franciis is a First Nations Australian rapper, singer/songwriter and producer/mix engineer. Drawing inspiration from many other artists, the Brisbane based artist grew up listening to many different genres of music at an early age; most noticeably the rise of hip-hop and pop records at the time. He was first introduced to his love for music after discovering the drums and percussion in his childhood - owning a second-hand beat up old drum kit in his family garage. He began producing his own work at the age of 15, mostly instrumentals he would share with his friends and for other artists in his city. He would first find his way into the booth at the age of 18; recording a few songs until finding his voice during Covid in 2020. His first official work was self released from 2021, mostly comprised of singles which included influenced sounds and different genres among each release to really showcase to the audience his versatility as a performer and an artist.
