With his upbeat, heartfelt lyricism, and catchy melodies; Franco Junior is enlisting the new music realm with his innovative sound. Since mid-2018 he’s garnered more than half a million streams on Spotify with his tracks “Pay It Later”, “Not Around”, “Thunder” and most recently “Crazy”, which alone hit over 100,000 hits in merely two weeks.
Franco is a musician, singer-songwriter delivering a contemporary sound evocative of his pop-rock influences and growing up in Toronto’s musically diverse city. Having studied theatre and production at the University of Toronto, Franco has owned being a versatile and dynamic performer and has played various intimate acoustic shows as well as vast venues and clubs. Some of his highlighted performances include opening up for BRDGS at the Rivoli and for the Faceplants on their nationwide tour in August 2018.
Prior to pursuing a career in music, Franco worked for three years at the Hospital for Sick Children performing with a ukulele to patients and their families bringing the power of music into their lives.
Most recently, after years of focusing on his music, Franco has gained DJ Support from Lucas and Steve, Shaun Frank, The Chainsmokers, Sam Feldt, Ookay, Slushii, Sikdope, Steve Void and Telykast.
Franco Junior is currently working on his EP with new music slated for 2019.
