Originally from Metro Detroit, she grew up listening to Motown, show tunes, early aughts pop, and 70s folk rock – meanwhile studying classical piano and journaling compulsively for 10+ years. As a result (presumably), her music is a unique blend of indie, soul, rock, and pop – warm, sincere, and introspective at its heart.
