Franz Alice Stern

Born in Bari (Italy) in 1990, Francesco Stella started his musical career at the age of four, studying classical piano and composition.
In the summer of 2014, he debuted with the new alias &#34;Franz Alice Stern&#34;, releasing an EP on the German label Trapez LTD, followed by another EP and a remix for <a href="spotify:artist:4xuvLbpdu8lDCLSnpZY45m" data-name="Fynn">Fynn</a> on the renowned label Get Physical Music. Moving to Berlin allowed him to truly establish himself as an electronic music producer and DJ, remixing in 2015 <a href="spotify:artist:7uZckwZIIL89Paj8E1GEFO" data-name="Teho">Teho</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:08Ut1tYxtmgIInVyQqohkM" data-name="Fritz Kalkbrenner">Fritz Kalkbrenner</a> and the single by <a href="spotify:artist:6vNe5MINTo5QZyR08sBOBA" data-name="Anna Naklab">Anna Naklab</a> feat. <a href="spotify:artist:61ipISvUVa5LkJlKZnm3Oo" data-name="Alle Farben">Alle Farben</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:67ghKnycRX6VM1xfqJSMlH" data-name="Younotus">Younotus</a> &#34;Supergirl.&#34;
In the following years, he released numerous EPs and singles on labels such as Parquet Recordings, Click Records and Traum Schallplatten. In 2016, <a href="spotify:artist:10gzBoINW3cLJfZUka8Zoe" data-name="Above &amp; Beyond">Above &amp; Beyond</a> featured on Group Therapy his remix for <a href="spotify:artist:20IiZT2AHU5GwnzncwJX6S" data-name="Matt Darey">Matt Darey</a>. In 2017, he debuted with two remixes for <a href="spotify:artist:7wSzFq5CoNoCpzazDphDJs" data-name="Roderic">Roderic</a> on Katermukke, a label on which he released his EP in 2018. Throughout his career, he also remixed artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:6sOEMfvCfHQ9dhSWyamXVb" data-name="Nils Hoffmann">Nils Hoffmann</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0ZPxafqcgMv07OtNWFapKk" data-name="Bondi">Bondi</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3NUcxMYt10f6cx567crDk2" data-name="Rafael Cerato">Rafael Cerato</a> and others, and performed over 300 shows on 5 continents.
Despite the pandemic, 2020 was a big year for Francesco. After years of development, he founded his own record label “Abyond”, together with Riccardo from Straahl, <a href="spotify:artist:6NAqxu5ZDkEfNPaV48h3RM" data-name="Matteo Gamba">Matteo Gamba</a> and Moon Leap. In the same year, he completed his audio engineering studies, and opened his own music studio where he now works as a mixing and mastering engineer.
