Franz Nolan, originally Francis Oboh, is an electronic and dance music producer who hails from southern part of Nigeria.
His work is largely influenced by Avicii, Kygo, Martin Garrix, ILLENIUM, Kygo (again), Jay Hardway, some more of Kygo, Julian Jordan, Seth Hills and a host of other global leading EDM acts.
He started music production in 2018 after getting inspiration from Kygo's vocal chops in It Ain't Me (with Selena Gomez) and Stargazing and songs like Jay Hardway's Golden Pineapple as well as Martin Garrix's WIEE (feat. Mesto) and BYLAW EP.
So far, his discography includes a song on a remix EP project titled Summer Wavs, Vol. 1 (Remixes) put out in 2021 by Tobi Peter and various collaborations with Nigerian EDM acts DeadWvlf and Rhoseus as well as UK-based Ghanaian songstress Shelley Black. He also has a solo single titled With You and a collaborative release with DeadWvlf for the Ayra Starr's Bloody Samaritan Remix Challenge.
The upcoming act looks forward to collaborating with more artistes such as Calix, Neutron Inv., Tropical Kenny, D3an, Beyo Jr, Noyze Jynx and other artistes on the Nigerian EDM platform, Nocturne Music Nigeria, as well as global music successes and touring the globe on shows to spread music that inspires its listeners.
