Frayz

Akinfolarin Ayo (born February 18, 1999) known professionally as ‘Frayz’ is a singer and songwriter who infuses smooth R&B vocals with key elements of Afropop and Afrobeat. Born in lagos but originally from Ondo state, he realized his passion for music at a very young age, joining the school choir and several other musical groups along the line. Frayz is a true creative at heart and draws inspiration from musical icons as far back as Bob Marley, Fela Anikulapo kuti, Michael Jackson to others as recent as wizkid, Drake, Jcole.

Frayz is currently signed to Avante Entertainment, A label also responsible for handling the affairs of Afrobeats pop star Mayorkun and the meteoric rise of the Port Harcourt duo, Ajebo Hustlers. With a tremendous star-maker reputation behind them, Frayz released his first single titled “Weak” in 2022 and a follow up single from Label Avante with Label mates Ajebo Hustlers tittled “Keep on Rocking”.

Now, Frayz is chasing his dreams of becoming a musical icon and one of the most impactful singers and songwriters out of Africa, one melody filled verse at a time.
