FRDND

This is the bio of Nwachukwu Ferdinand Chimaobi. I don’t do complicated bios though but apparently my management thinks I need one. People ask; “why FRDND and not Ferdinand tho?” Well duh, Ferdinand is too bland and generic and if you’ve come across my pages or crossed paths with me, you just know I do everything to stand out. I was born to a Methodist father and a Catholic mother and no, I did not find my love for music from joining the choir. I only found out I had vocal prowess in 2015 in boarding school cause I wanted to out-sing some of my classmates that did too much with their riffs during morning masses😂. I started music in 2023 and I actually do not know why cause I actually wanted to be a footballer and never had the zeal to want to be in a studio, ever (well, we all know how the football dream went). Recorded my first song in January of 2023 and I’ve never looked back since then. I listen to a lot of genres and a lot of artistes and find inspo from everywhere, but my most influential inspirations are Burna Boy, Khalid, Omah Lay, Victony, BNXN, Fridayy and Noby. I feel like I’m destined for this cause it found me and not the other way round and cause my mom actually supports the music😂(she didn’t like the idea of football). I’m trying to carve my name in Afrobeats and music history collectively so I’m hoping you root for me when you come across my music. Thank you so very much💛🐝.
