The stylistically distinguished and versatile efforts of Freddy Fang have resulted in over a decade of rapping since beginning at the age of 12. The rapper, songwriter, and now videographer has written over a thousand songs, making his recording debut with the mixtape Grey Season. Currently, he is working on his first EP "Alumnus" in Chicago.
Born Frederick Fang in Gainesville, FL, Freddy spent much of childhood cemented in Gator country. Upon entering college at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, the independent hip-hop artist caught his stride under his surname. In Atlanta, he continued to perform at the University, being acclaimed Emory's most talented. In 2020, he released Connections and Chicago. At the peak of Asian-American violence during the COVID pandemic, he released his provocative tribute to his mother and all Asian-Americans.
Freddy's return to hip-hop in 2022 marks an instrumental period of fine-tuning sound, to which now he looks to capture and display. The mix of singing and rapping look to come into fruition with his upcoming EP "Alumnus."
