Oregon based psychedelic indie hip-hop jam band Free Creatures is rising fast!
Referred to sometimes as umami music, their genre-blasting and energetic sound brings a smart and uplifting blend of smooth vocals, upright bass, electric guitar, and MPC live.
The band consists of only three members: Eugene-born emcee and long-time Northwest legend Marv Ellis, Anchorage Alaskan Emily Turner gifting her sweet serenading vocals over solid and beastly grooves on Upright Bass, and upside-down leftie-shredding wizard and guitar-super-hero Skyler Squglio from Reedsport, Oregon.
Their two full-length studio albums "All the Things" and "While We Can" boast heartfelt and heady originals, most (if not all) fans agree, their live show is an entirely other dimension of improvisation and authentically inspiring energy exchange.
Free Creatures actively tours nationwide, coast to coast, and will be coming to a city near you, as well as releasing a lot more new music into and throughout 2025! Stay tuned!
