Bonaire-based emcee Freezo (aka Fridge Grassman) has been writing his dyslexic bars ever since he was 13. They didn't make a lot of sense back then and some would argue they still don't. Too shy to share his craft, it took him a while to spit his verses in public or even on tape, and 'round the time he moved to the Netherlands he set up shop with his small studio. Not knowing what he was doing, he made a lot of noise, unmastered low-quality tracks, but if you'd take the time and pay attention you'd figure the kid had something to say.
During his time in Rotterdam, he became the lead vocalist of the Post-Punk band Swimming Fishes (2008-2011). Rapping, spitting, and screaming his bars into the world, one small venue after the next. He gained confidence and matured as a writer and rapper. Soon enough another friend invited him to join The Verbal Hologram (2009-2018); a rap-collective that lasted until their final project "Remote Island Syndrome".
