Andrés Ortega is a professional guitar player and music composer from Bucaramanga, Colombia. He started his career as a classical guitar performer and later on he moved into the world of the electric guitar and music composition.
His creative process brought him towards his soloist career using the pseudonym of Frendix with songs based on electronic, folk, rock rhythms and the main influence being the electric guitar.
His first album is called ‘Dance Dream,’ inspired by a love story that every listener can related with. It is a sound sequence of ambiences and feelings such as anger, sadness, and hope of a better future. A trip of introspection and self-meditation.
Dance Dream was composed, arranged, recorded and produced by Andrés Ortega in Sonico Records and recorded, mixed and mastered by Carlos Santos in Atomic Records. Launched on digital platforms by the label ‘Musekana’ on February 10th.
