This is FRIDA MATSDOTTER - composer, music creator, singer/vocalist and artist! At this profile I present all the various range of musical styles I'm working with EXCEPT pure pop. As Frida Matsdotter I perform and create pieces in the styles of jazz, soul, nordic folk & world music, choral and classical music and more.

Though, as I also love pop I have another artist name as well; FRIDA NOVA! Under this name I will release my first album the 24th of January! As FRIDA NOVA I'm into a new sound - a mix of electropop, neosoul, funk and retro house!

As Frida Matsdotter I released my debut album Tivoli in 2000. Even though I've composed and performed hundreds and hundreds of pieces on a professional level since 1996 - from commissioned composing works for choir, orchestra and instrumental soloists to jazz performances with big bands and improvisational music in various settings - I still haven't got more releases out, yet... But it'll come!

From my very first breath I was drawn to music and since then I've never stopped being fascinated of its many different appearances. I love each element, all bits and pieces of music. I have lived, laughed, worked with creating and performing music , and over time I have collaborated with many well renowned Swedish musicians.
