Friday Bridge

Friday Bridge are a Swedish indie pop duo whose elegant, synth and harpsichord-laden tunes, heavily influenced by acts like <a href="spotify:artist:1aSxMhuvixZ8h9dK9jIDwL">Kate Bush</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:07h7JMfYWswTq4qpinC5q4">Altered Images</a>, nod to likeminded Scandinavians <a href="spotify:artist:0utS63XytOEVN1EtzWhJpG">the Radio Dept.</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3Kt34aALAZu5GUd3WRqsrZ">the Sound of Arrows</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6E6yZfLJy9X62bwXFDlCcw">Firefox AK</a>. Yiva Lindberg and Niklas Gustafsson formed Friday Bridge in 2004, naming the project after a small village in Cambridgeshire, England. Their first EP, a cassette-only release titled The Lady Julie, was released on Best Kept Secret that same year; another EP, Friday Bridge 2, came out on Bedroom in the fall of 2005. A handful of split 7" singles and compilation disc appearances followed in the next two years, including an appearance on Friendly Noise's Are You Scared to Get Happy? and a split single with <a href="spotify:artist:2KdVg78S5ZjQJgYgSjN2Rz">Kelly Slusher</a> (2006's The End of the Affair/Be There).
