Based in Glasgow, Frog Costume are active in the DIY scene supporting American emo bands such as Awakebutstillinbed, Riley and Standards as well as british bands I Feel Fine, Lakes and MeRex.
Martin MacDonald, Cam Duncan and Finlay Matheson deliver emotional songs which at times feature aggressive vocals, light instrumentation, spoken word and catchy hooks. They flow painfully sincere lyrics on topics of mental health and relationships over moving chords and riffs with drivey choruses. They bring these thoughtful songs to venues and play dynamic live sets across Scotland.
Now after a good year of being back to gigging regularly Frog Costume have made their first main release, a 9-track self-titled album with their biggest and most popular tracks so far. Made in true DIY fashion, in the homes of the band members and friends, ‘FROG COSTUME’ is a culmination of multiple years of work, and a true representation of everything the band speak for.
