From East

Growing up in the small town of East London, South Africa I always felt that there was something more to the standard way of life than the small town standards, that I witnessed around me. I managed to find this "something" by physically placing myself in different places where I was out of my comfort zone, but where my intuition pointed me. The music I make is in essence a portrayal of that "something" that I was searching for from a young age. And now the music has become a place of growth in and within itself, even sometimes a lighthouse towards that "something." It's the truest expression of emotion that I have been able to find and I don't think that will ever cease to be true, but life is flux and so is expression and I'm here to see where that takes me.
