From Quagmire

Combining the talents of two fine bands into one new project with a different approach, From Quagmire is a trio made up of Dorothy Geller, James Wolf, and Vincent Van Go-Gogh. <a href="spotify:artist:3H9ax2xPjWhD150wCDZ5SV">Geller</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0Wxy5Qka8BN9crcFkiAxSR">Wolf</a> are the lead figures in the excellent band Laconic Chamber, though here things are generally even more quieter and spooked out than that group. <a href="spotify:artist:3H9ax2xPjWhD150wCDZ5SV">Geller</a> performs on nylon-string guitar while adding her soft singing, while <a href="spotify:artist:0Wxy5Qka8BN9crcFkiAxSR">Wolf</a> concentrates solely on his sometimes creepily dissonant violin. Go-Gogh, one of the main members in the art rock ensemble Rake, handles everything else, recording the songs while adding what he feels would work best, cymbal clashes or low electronic tones or more.
